About Us
Friends of Agassiz is an independent not-for-profit corporation (501c3) governed by its by-laws and must file annual reports with the IRS and the Illinois Secretary of State. This arrangement allows contributions made by individuals or businesses to be exempt from income taxes and thereby provides a method for members of the school community to raise additional funds to support the school.
The Board of Directors holds monthly meetings at the school, usually the last Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm, and welcome all interested parents and community members. Please consult the school calendar for actual meeting dates and times.
